MHTS - Mission statement

Magnetic Hyperthermia (MHT) is an emerging method in the field of cancer treatment. By elevating the body temperature in a tumor, cell death of cancer cells may be induced and the efficiency of chemotherapeutics can be improved. The team of “Magnetic Hyperthermia Solutions B.V.” aims to offer solutions for its testing and application. We have the apparatus to test the physical characteristics of the material, as well as the biological effects in cell culture studies. In cooperation with experts on the field in the Netherlands and Germany we develop this method as a solution for common problems in cancer therapy, in particular the severe side-effects of chemotherapy and the resistance of secondary tumors.
